Services

Liz Patton & Associates provides psychological services in accordance with AHPRA registration requirements and the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics. All services are subject to clinical suitability and availability.

How to book

New clients can book directly at lizpatton.com.au/new. Existing clients are welcome to book future sessions by contacting us directly.

Initial appointments

Your first appointment is a 60-minute session. It is an opportunity for us to meet, for me to understand what has brought you to therapy, and for you to ask any questions about how we might work together. There is no obligation to continue beyond this first session.

Ongoing appointments

Most clients are seen weekly or fortnightly, particularly in the early stages of therapy. As your work progresses, the frequency of sessions may change. We will decide this together, based on what is most useful for you.

Fees

Current fees are listed on our Services page. Fees are reviewed annually. Clients will be notified in advance of any changes.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking for private self-referred clients. Medicare rebates are processed electronically following the session. NDIS services are billed in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a 50% fee. After two unexplained non-attendances, clients will be discharged and the GP notified.

Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions is treated as strictly confidential. Confidentiality may be breached only where required by law, where there is serious risk of harm, or where mandatory reporting obligations apply.

Telehealth

Telehealth services are available to clients currently located in Australia. As an AHPRA-registered psychologist, Dr Patton is not permitted to provide clinical services to clients residing outside Australia.
